680 g Stewing beef, cut in 1 inch
237 ml Chopped onion (250ml)
1 Clove garlic, minced
44 ml Pure vegetable oil (45ml)
1 can (6oz) tomato paste(170g)
355 ml Water (375ml)
237 ml Thinly sliced carrots
59 ml Red wine (60ml)
44 ml Minced parsley(45ml)
2 ml Salt (3ml)
1 ml Pepper (1ml)
591 ml Large corkscrew macaroni
237 ml Shredded Cheddar cheese
59 ml Butter or margarine
Instructions
In Dutch oven or heavy skillet, cook beef, onion, garlic in oil until beef loses its redness. Stir in next 7 ingredients, cover and simmer 1 hour,stirring occasionally. cook macaroni as package directs. Drain. Toss hot cooked macaroni with cheese and butter. Arrange on large serving platter. Spoon Meat mixture over. makes 6 servings.
